Best Private Dining Room for...

I'm starting up my own media company and have four great folks as my launch team. Initially I thought I would reserve a small conference room at the King Eddy or a similar hotel, but that feels too stuffy, formal and costly now.

What resto in Toronto has a nice private room where we could talk privately and enjoy some great food as well?

Oro on Elm has a variety of private rooms - maybe too big for your needs though?

You could try Rosewater. They have a couple different sized and styled private rooms that are good for business meetings.

Barberian's on Elm has 2 or 3 rooms that would fit the bill

If you know someone, the Board of Trade has decent rooms you can get for cheap. You can dine anywhere downtown then. Ki and Far Niente have nice rooms right across from each other on wellington and bay. Joy bistro on Queen East has a nice upstairs which is likely free during the week. Dora Keough attached to Allen's is available for private parties. There are tons of places really. I can keep going...
