The Italian place next to Honest Eds

Hi,
I'm looking for Italian food around Bathurst and Bloor/Dupont. I don't want to go south of Bloor.

Anyway, I can picture an extremely gaudy Italian restaurant right next to Honest Ed's... anyone know then name? Better yet, anybody ever been there??

This is another vote for Bar Mercurio. Excellent food, great service. Matter of fact, we've got a table booked there for Sunday.

That gaudy place next to Honest Ed's is Rocco's Plum Tomato 585 Bloor Street West [phone].

It's average. Very very average.

Only one place...and its one of my top fav's. Bar Mercurio on Bloor at St. George. Amazing pizza and great staff. Very cool, well done place.
