Where to get Wafu in the GTA?

Became a diehard fan of the Wafu Japanese vinaigrette/salad dressing while in Montreal – has anyone found it in Toronto?

  1. Not sure if they have Wafu salad dressing, but I can think of two Japanese food stores - one on Augusta in Kensington (I think it's called Little Tokyo?) and one called Seiko on Queen West. You might try calling either of these to see if they have it.

The one on Queen west near Niagara is Sanko (not Seiko). I don't know this particular brand, but, both places are worth a try.

Yes, that's right - Sanko! As I was typing it I was thinking it didn't sound quite right. Thanks Atahualpa.

    2. actually, you can also get it at dominion's in King West Village(they have a Japanese food display at the end of one of the aisles). Am also obsesses with it, and buy several at a time in case it goes away....

Hi where exactly is the Dominion in King West Village.

King and Strachan - aka Libery Village. You gotta learn "the google"!

      2. They sell it at Nortown Foods (Eglinton west of Bathurst). I have also seen it at Pusateris (Avenue Road North of Lawrence) and on Bay and Yorkville.

        1. Went to Pusateris (Avenue Road) last night. they had it but only in the small bottles so I bought the 5 that they had. But while the large one has 80 calories for half a cup the small one has 70 calories per tablespoon. And it is through a different company, same ingredients though. The large one can be purchased so far only at Cosco in Montreal. Will keep looking and keep you posted
