I'm honored -- and in some damn fine company.

This is my daughter's first Thanksgiving actually cooking the whole kit and caboodle, so other than the Vidalia pies -- I used Inca Sweets and baked without a top crust this time -- and the smoked turkey legs with Dr Pepper barbecue sauce for the grandkids, all I'm bringing is the wine and my appetite.

      2. Saltwater bath in the shimmering south beach sea.

Drinks, more drinks, maybe a couple more for good measure...followed by football.

        1. Island Way Grill on Clearwater Beach did my cooking for me this year: classic turkey, giblet gravy, cranberry relish, wasabi mashed potatoes, bourbon glazed yams, brussels sprouts, cranberry relish, Reisling, banana coconut pie. . . .
