Sunday Brunch in Brevard

SocketErr Nov 22, 2006 05:56 PM

This weekend I'm going to propose to my girlfriend of several years. To celebrate the engagement, I thought it would be a good idea to get her family and mine together for Sunday brunch. Can anyone recommend a place in Brevard County where we could go?

I've always heard great things about Flamingo's at the Radisson at the Port. A little steeper than some of the other hotel brunches but with more seafood and sushi, and in a nicer setting IMO.

      First of all...she said "yes"!

Second...thank you for the suggestion. But after doing a bit of research, I concluded that Flamingo's was a bit too far of a drive for both families (Titusville and Melbourne) and a bit pricier than I was looking for.

I ended up making reservations at Chowders in Rockledge (http://www.chowders.com). They offer a pretty decent brunch selection (omelette station, pancake station, large dessert table, chicken dish, fish dish, beef dish, etc), they have a magnificent view of the river, and their price was about half of what the hotel chains offer brunch for. Our families had a great time and I would recommend this place to anyone.

        Awesome! :-)

That's great, I had no idea Chowder's did brunch. They do have an excellent view, and I normally like their food, except for the chowder (weird, huh). Thanks for the info!

Agree with you on Chowders' chowder...we always ask for a side of milk & use it to thin it down. It's quite good then!
