Hi, I didn't order a pie in advance and need to go out and get one soon. Any recommendations for a good pumpkin pie and not ridiculously priced? Park Slope or Court St. preferred. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!

Cousin John's on 7th Avenue might have what you want. Also, Sweet Melissa is on both Court Street & 7th Avenue. You could try calling them to see if they have pumpkin pie. Good luck and happy Thanksgiving.

I may get flame-broiled for this, and my apologies if its not what you're looking for, BUT:

My mom (Brooklyn born and raised, as am I) swears by the Mrs. Smith's pies she gets from the supermarket (Key Food generally, but C-Town might have them). Pop them in the oven for a couple of hours and they come out looking and tasting great. I really love their apple, and have for years. I don't much care for the pumpkin, but my sister likes this one pretty well, I've found.

(also, there's always Two Little Red Hens, in addition to Sweet Melissa and Cousin John's. I wonder if Lopez Bakery is doing Pumpkin pie?)

Jump on the F Train to Manhattan and head for the Cupcake Cafe ... 9th Ave and 39st. The Apple or Cherry crumb pie both rock.

I bet Union Market has 'em. No idea of pricing of course...

Maybe Blue Apron Foods on Union?

Fairway and Costco both have pies at reasonable prices.
