Smoked Chicken Close to Union Station?

Hey Everyone..

I am visiting San Francisco, and my Grandmother told me that I have to take her to a place which sells whole smoked chicken, as well as Sourdough bread. My uncle seems to think its near Union Station, but apparently they haven't been to this place in years.

Any idea where I can find Smoked Chicken? They said its like German smoked chicken if that means anything to anyone..

Thanks in advance.

  1. I've lived out here for quite a while and don't remember ever hearing about a Union Station. There's Union Square, a well-known shopping area in SF, and Union Street (also a shopping district). Do they live out here now? Try to get a better description and name for the location.

    1. I can't imagine what place this might have been. Maybe the Saturday farmers market at the Ferry Building? There used to be a stand with great smoked poultry.

You can now get smoked chicken and sourdough bread inside the Ferry Building, but those shops have only been there three years.

      1. Hey Guys..

Sorry. I was thinking about New York. It is actually union square. Doesn't really matter where the smoked poultry place is just as long as I can find a good one to take my grandma. She wants to get a few whole chickens.

        Thanks!
