No Knead-Fillings

Could you add things such as cheese or garlic to this recipe and if so how and when would that be done? I was wanting to make some sort of cheese bread or garlic bread for Thanksgiving.

  1. One other - i was thinking of something on the sweet side - like cinnamon and raisin - is this possible?

    1. Any ideas out there? i start my bread this afternoon and i am trying to determine if i am going with plain bread or something with some sort of kick.....Jalapeno and Cheddar would be good. Except i don't even know where to begin. do you add the cheese, garlic, raisins, etc before the first rise, the second, or right before you put it in the oven?

      1. Additions to a bread dough like raisins or cheese go in before the first rise. You can also sprinkle some on top of the loaves before baking.

        1. I've done sesame, kalamata olive and sage(for my t-day stuffing) breads. They all worked fine and I added the extras to the water before mixing into the flour. I'd like to try cheese too, but I'm wondering if it would burn because of the high temp needed to bake this bread.
