I went to Gingergrass Grill on 95th today deemed it horrid. Is there any good Thai restaurants in UES or UWS?

  1. I like Land on Amsterdam in the low 80s - good food, pretty fair prices, fairly trendy atmosphere for the UWS.

I second the rec for Land Thai. All my friends who don't live in the area request takeout from this place when they come over for dinner!

    2. Try Sala Thai on 2nd bet 89th & 90th. Not a very fancy place to look at, but the food is excellent.

Another vote for Sala Thai. Very good.

I think this place is average, but ok for the neighborhood and somewhat better than nearby Jasmine.

      2. More midtown, but we love Siam Inn 2 on 8th and 52nd St.

        1. Lime Leaf on 107 and B'way is good also.

          1. LAND, it's a must. I am completely addicted. it's amsterdam and 83rd.

            1. jasmine's on 84th and 3rd is very reliable, if a little on the sweet side.

              1. Yes, Land is tasty and fairly priced. Just beware that it is really tiny.

                1. Luscious Thai on 60th and 1st
