Suntory Whiskey?

Does anyone know where to find the higher-end Suntory whiskeys in San Francisco or nearby? I'm looking to buy some as a present, and the Suntory website is useless on this count. I've tried K&L and BevMo. I'm not sure where the best whiskey shops might be, so thanks for any help.

  1. Give Draeger's a call. They have a deep collection of very high-end liquor and wine (I think the Menlo Park location is your best bet). This weekend I saw an 1806 Cognac for $5200 -- not exactly BevMo's territory.

    1. I would check D&M on Fillmore. Higher end liquor store with a large selection of brandies and single malts, so maybe they have what you're looking for or can point you in the right direction.

You know, I never even noticed they have hard alcohol. I'm always browsing the wines. Thanks for the tip, that's even convenient to Japan Town.

      2. Japantown's probably the best place to find it.

Anyone know of a liquor store there? I've never noticed one. But that's a good thought and I'll give a try.

        2. In the past I remember seeing it at the Japanese market on Post. If they do not have it they will know where to get it.

          1. Check with the John Walker Wine Shop (downtown on Sutter between Kearny & Montgomery).
