Best Roti Chanai in Toronto

DDD Nov 21, 2006 03:55 AM

Ever since spending a month in Malaysia/Borneo, and getting our daily fix of Roti Chanai (usually for breakfast), we have been looking for the stuff closer to home. We've had some pretty good ones in T.O., most notably was at Coconut Village on Roncessvalles (closed for over a year now). In my opinion, the stuff at Restauran Malaysia is not bad and ditto for the dish at Coconut Island on Kennedy. I think that we've tried it at Ming's but can't really remember....Any other suggestions?

There's a Sunrise that opened on Yonge just south of Wellesley. From my understanding, it's a chain so they probably have a website. Yummy!
