Wahoo's near 5 or 405

Hello LA hounds,

My OC husband and I will be driving down to San Diego from San Francisco for Thanksgiving. We were wondering where the first Wahoo's is on the 5 to the 405 route. We could hold out for the Wahoo's on Bristol in Costa Mesa but it would be great if there's one up in LA.

  1. there is one in brentwood, right on wilshire blvd. exit the 405 on wilshire, go west and it is on the NW corner of wilshire and westgate (roughly 3/4 to 1 mile off the 405).

    1. There is one in San Clemente right off of the 5.

      1. There is also one in Valencia before you even hit the 405:

        24230 Valencia Blvd, Valencia, CA

        1. there is also one on bristol near south coast plaza in santa ana/costa mesa, south of the 405.

oops - just saw you know about that one...

          1. You guys are incredible! Thanks!

            1. The is one is Torrance (about 10 miles south of LAX). Exit Redondo Beach Blvd, turn left off freeway (in the middle lane), make a right on Prairie Avenue. Go about 5 miles, Prairie turns into a street called Madrona. Turn right on Torrance Blvd. Wahoo's on the left hand side, before Hawthorne Blvd. It is probably 20 minutes from the 405 freeway so I don't know if this is close enough. Happy Thanksgiving!

              1. FYI, I noticed that the Wahoo's in Mid-Wilshire will be closed on Thansgiving (don't know if you're driving down that day or not) and this could possibly be a chain-wide thing, so you might want to call beforehand.

we'll be driving on Wednesday, but thanks for the heads up. Go LA Hounds!

                2. If you are planing on going to the one on Bristol in Costa Mesa. Do your self a favor and make a right when you exit the freeway and head the opposite direction just past the mall and before MacAuthur there's Baja Fish Taco right next to a Ralphs.
Their fish tacos are far better Wahoo's.
