Vegetarian restaurants in Vienna?

bakeryqueen Nov 20, 2006 05:35 PM

I'll be in Vienna for 3 days next week. Does anyone have any meat-free dining suggestions for me? I don't want to completely starve. Thanks.

There a lot of great vegetarian restaurants in Vienna: a search at www.falter.at lists 268...

    The best is Wrenkh: http://www.wrenkh.at

    Others are:
    Banyan (http://lokaltipp.at/jsp-content/homepage_english.jsp?chn=9&id=612&title=3
    )Lebenbauer (http://lokaltipp.at/jsp-content/homepage_english.jsp?chn=9&id=143&title=3
    )Vegirant (http://web2.cylex.de/firma-home/vegirant---vegetarische-vollwertkueche-4539601.html
    )and Antuns Biobar: http://www.biobar.at/

The two lokaltipp.at links are broken.

Just use http://lokaltipp.at and enter either "Banyan" or "Lebenbauer". When you see the result of the search, click on the restaurants name. On the restaurants page, scroll down the long entry, there you will find a button for an "english version".
