Le Creuset rusting- report back

I had a problem with some rusting on the uncoated part of my Dutch oven lid. I posted and got some responces and yeah, I know it's not a big deal but I decided to call customer service about it nonetheless. They were very nice and helpful, so I sent it in. I only sent in the bottom even though my problem was with the lid. I was told it cuts down on shipping. On the phone they were able to tell me if they had my exact product match. It took a little less than 3 weeks and I have a new Dutch oven. Hope this helps anyone with a similar problem.

Thanks for the report back! Although I have no problems with my pieces It's assuring to know they have such great customer service.

They replaced it because the intentionally uncoated iron was rusting? No wonder their prices are so high...

A good rule of thumb is to season any uncoated iron, then there wouldn't be any rusting.
