Restaurants/Pubs in London open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day?

I will be in London December 23rd through the 28th. I was just wondering what is common for restaurants and pubs as to being open or closed around that time of year. Will most places be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day? What about Boxing Day?

  1. There are actually some London places that specialize in Christmas and Christmas season dinners --try Rules, on Maiden lane, which is a trip with ornate ye olde interior, game and venison and plum pudding on the menu. It will cost you an arm and a leg, but it is London. In general pubs will close at some point over the three days, but not all three. What area?

We will be in the Notting Hill area.

    2. I will also be traveling to london at that time and noticed that Canteen will be open Christmas day. Looks like a really great option. Browns Hotel has Christmas day and Boxing day meals as well.
