Ramen [moved from Boston]

There was some coverage on ramen in NYC in the NYT: http://www.nytimes.com/2004/11/10/din...

I've tried Momofuku's and Rai Rai Ken's. Definitely enjoyed the latter, but I thought other stuff was better at Momo's. (e.g. the crispay fried pig's tails, pickled veggie mix, steamed buns, etc.)

    Menkutei on cooper sq (3rd ave) between St Marks and 7th.

    Good ramen, fried rice, and they serve a large menu of other japanese items like katsu, gyoza, etc.
