Restaurants with Fireplaces
I'm searching for restaurants with great food and a fireplace. Anywhere in Manhattan would be helpful. As for food types, anything except Italian.
Thank you in advance.

If you are looking for a more hip and casual scene, the lounge downstairs at the Coffee Shop has a fireplace as well and they serve Brazilian food (same menu as the Coffee Shop).

Ye Waverly Inn has a fireplace in the back room. Given that they are in 'soft opening' mood, there are a lot of kinks to be worked out. The food is comfort food a little dressed up, and it's good, but not fabulous.

Molly's, the convivial Irish pub, on 3rd Av., b/t 22nd & 23rd Sts. Best known for terrific burgers. Skip the mediocre fries in favor of the excellent onion rings.
Re: Rene Pujol. There are two dining rooms, and I can't recall if there is a fireplace in the front room. From personal experience of having been seated in the back room a number of times, I know that the fireplace there is never used and has a table blocking it.
