T-giving sides for grilled lamb?

Spending Thanksgiving with friends in Florida. Since none of us really like turkey we decided on grilled butterflied leg of lamb for our holiday dinner and I am in charge of all the side dishes (others are doing lamb, wine, apps and desserts). I am guessing that there will be gorgeous produce there in Florida but would love to have some ideas in my pocket as it were. TIA and Happy Thanksgiving to all!

  1. Most of the Thanksgiving classic sides aren't really complementing the turkey and would probably stand reasonably well with lamb, if you want to just stick to the traditional sides.

    We oven-roast a mixture of purple, red, and white baby potatoes to go with our grilled lamb. I generally use a lemon-pepper mix to season them.

    We also take frozen corn and cook it under the broiler to get a nice browning, then mix in a bit of pesto.

    How about minted baby peas as a side?
