What to wear to Inn at Little Washington

Okay--question for the ladies. I know this question has been asked before but I am looking for a more specific answer. Do I need to wear cocktail attire (i.e. little black dress)? I had an outfit in mind that involved a cute velvet skirt, black boots, and a dressy black top but I don't want to be underdressed (if that's a word).

My husband and I are dining there on Thursday for our 5th anniversary-can't wait!

Thanks for the help!

I think you'll be fine. If memory serves me right, I wore a black business suit. Enjoy your meal.

I think it depends on how dressy the skirt/boots are. If they're something you'd wear everyday you might want to go for the cocktail dress. But it also depends on whether you'd rather err on the too dressy side, or the too casual side. If you found you were "underdressed" would it take away from your experience, or could you shrug and enjoy? Have fun, my fifth anniversary was last week!
