If you didn't have to worry about money or anything, where would you go for your 40th birthday (just you and your significant other)?

Need to plan for the upcoming event and would love your input. Also, we love Per Se but have been there several times so not that motivated to book a table there.

Thanks a ton.

Truly, I would go somewhere which shouldn't be on the Manhattan board - but restricting myself to that, Ducasse.

If you didn't worry about money or anything, Daniel. It's better than Ducasse (in general).

I recently celebrated my anniversary at Blue Hill at Stone Barns and absolutely loved it. Rent a hotel for that night at the Grand Hyatt in Greenwich for $125 or so.

Otherwise, Cru, Bouley followed by drinks at Brandy Library, or Veritas.

I second Blue Hill at Stone Barns. We went recently after spending the day shopping at Woodbury Common. Quite a fun outing.

I highly recommend Aureole, Bouley, Danube and Eleven Madison Park.
