I'm thinking about returning to WD-50 soon, and I'm intigued by the new pastry chef. Bruni interviews him on his blog, and the background at Alinea is promising. Has anyone been? I have not had his new stuff @ WD~50, but I did try his stuff when he was still in Alinea earlier this year. It was an awesome experience and I'm sure you'll enjoy them and him. Unfortunately, I think I went into the meal with too high expectations of the whole experience, but that's another story...I would go back to WD to sit at the bar and have the desserts, and would definitely tell others to do so.
