Greater Baltimore Area Brunch for a group?

heeter Nov 13, 2006 03:18 PM

I am looking for a place for brunch the weekend after Thanksgiving for a group of 6 or 7 in the Baltimore area. Because of our size and their lack of reservations, I assume that Blue Moon (which I have been dying to try) is out. I was hoping for something a little more reasonably priced than the Admiral Fell in ($30 a person is just a bit much). I've heard that the Iron Bridge Wine Company in Columbia does a nice brunch.

Anyone have any other suggestions? We're adventurous eaters, and will go anywhere in the Baltimore area - Cockeysville, Ellicott City, Pasadena.... where ever we can have a great meal! Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Hull Street Blues in Locust Point/Federal Hill area
does a good brunch. Reservations would be a good idea.

Is the Admiral Fell doing theirs again? I thought they had stopped. But just FYI, when I last went (granted two years ago), it was really really good and actually a good value given that mimosas/bloody mary's are included.

Pierpoint has a good brunch, and it's alacarte.

Also, Gertrude's in the BMA is something you might want to look into.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. My group is leaning towards Hull St. Blues.... I'll report back!

I recommend Harvest Table in Locust Point.
they have a harvest layer breakfast which is a croissant, egg, provolone in mornet sauce which I highly encourage.
          But everything is good.

another nice brunch is Mt Washington Tavern.

I think you will enjoy HSB, It's a good baltimore joint. If you are going early on Sunday, traffic could be an issue. Little Havana also has a great cheap brunch.
