Cook's Illustrated Holiday Baking 2006 mag: Where in SF?

  • 7

Has anyone seen this for sale in SF? I've called Cody's downtown and a couple of other bookstores. It's Sunday, so unfortunately Stacey's is closed. Thanks.

  1. Check grocery stores: I've seen it at Whole Foods and Berkeley Bowl.

I found it at Aardvark Books on Church St.! Now I'm in search of the Martha Stewart Holiday Cookie mag for 2006. Her website, like last year, does not even acknowledge the existence of said magazine.

I don't think she does a holiday cookie mag every year. She did last year but the year before she had a holiday cooking mag(recipes for open houses, all kinds of yummy stuff) and this year her holiday offering appears to be the homemade holiday gifts special issue. I wish she came out with a holiday cookie mag every year...if one turns up please post so I can be on the look out.

I also was not sure she had done a cookie mag this year, but then my friend just received his in the mail a couple of days ago, so there is definitely one to be had.

    2. I bought mine at Piazza's, a supermarket on the Peninsula. They have stores in Palo Alto and San Mateo, possibly other places. Not SF, I know, but not terribly far if you're desperate, plus it's a nice supermarket, if a little overpriced.

      1. Oddly, I noticed it at my Long's (Berkeley). But might even check at drugstores in the city.

        1. I saw it at Costco last weekend.
