UWS / UES - best cup of hot chocolate??

Can you give me some suggestions for places to get a good (not instant) cup of hot chocolate?

Fauchon has some of the best, richest hot chocolate I've ever had, second only to Angelina in Paris.

I second MMRuth's vote for La Maison du Chocolat. They have 2 kinds of hot chocolate--one sweet and creamy (Guayaquil) and the other dark and bittersweet (Caracas). So decadent! Just don't get talked into purchasing their "hot chocolate beads" for $16, if they are still selling them. They taste terrible when made according to the directions.

Cafe at Fairway (upstairs). Really amazing!

On the UES, the hot chocolate at Maison du Chocolat is excellent, if pricey - Madison Ave - 70s? Also EAT (also Madison - low 80s?) used to have a great (again pricey) hot chocolate, though it's been ages since I've been.

Scharffen Berger Chocolate Shop; 473 Amsterdam Ave. (82nd & 83rd). Decadent hot chocolate made from flaked solid chocolate and steamed milk. Yum!
