Superfine Update?

Anyone been to Superfine in Dumbo lately? I'm considering it for a birthday dinner later this week. Any thoughts on food and atmosphere these days? Does it get crowded during the week?

Good spot, but the service is really bad, esp. with groups.
Food will take forever, at least 1 dish will come out 10 min
after everyone else, long waits for drinks, etc. Not worth the
$, in my opinion.

I would suggest 5 Front, just down the street? The vibe is not as much fun,
but the food is MUCH better, the service is solid, and pretty much the same $
I'm sure you and your friend will have fun no matter where you end up, so I'd
head to the best spot possible. enjoy.

I havent eaten dinner there in awhile but always found the menu to be limited. Their steak frites is decent though a bit on the pricey side for the quality.

Despite all of this, I like the place a lot...mainly for drinks.

I've only *recently* been at weekend brunchtime - vibe was the same friendly thing I remembered, food was good. It's a nice room for a low-key party.

I ate there a week ago. The food was OK, not fantastic - I had orechiette w/various veggies (not memorable, as you can see).I have no idea about weekday nights there.
