Avoid Burger Inn on K St Sacramento

Just had lunch on Thursday at the new Burger Inn on the K Street Mall in Downtown Sacramento in the old Osteria location. The place looked great until the food arrived. All three of us did not like lunch - one had the plain cheeseburger, one had the fish sandwich, and I had the chili cheeseburger. The burgers were way overcooked - probably precooked then grilled - and mine came with about 1 tsp of chili (with beans!) and American cheese (probably Kraft Singles!).

Nobody liked their meals with Carl's Jr. beating all above items; my friend specifically ordered medium and received a burned hockey puck. The fries were OK, but nothing to brag about. With Nationwide and Jim Denny's in walking distance, I will be avoiding the Burger Inn like the plague.

    1. Bummer. I have not tried it but hoped it would be at least decent. I have worked in that area for 9 years and am very excited when something new comes in. I liked Osteria's paninis and was puzzled when they disappeared. Oh well.
