What do you recommend for a great french meal for a visitor coming in December? Not worried about the price or location, excellent service is a must.
I love Bouley in the winter - very cozy.
Three words: Daniel, Daniel, Daniel. Beautiful surroundings, fabulous food, the best service in NYC.
Alain Ducasse at the Essex House is the best pure French restaurant in the city if price is not an issue. Per Se is a bit French-American, and you will be very hard put to get a table in December.
