Best Japanese Restaurant in York Region

I have read quite a few recommendations re "Best Japanese Restaurant in Toronto", and I would like to hear your opinions before I try those in York Region area (i.e. Markham, Richmond Hill). Preferably not all-u-can-eat-style.

ooooh, we had a beautiful time at akasaka (on yonge & sheppard). we brought 2 italians (visiting from italy), my father and mother (who are NOT adventurous at all, and stick mainly to italian food), my picky sister (who recommended the place after a company xmas party there) and me. We had the teppanyaki, and it had angus beef, lobster, the japanese fried rice, etc, etc, etc. Everyone had a fantastic time and the food was delicious.
For a neighbourhood joint, and a good dinner, I love GINZA (at langstaff and weston). They recently renovated and put in a teppanyaki room, but i havent tried that yet.

Try Akasaka for Teppanyaki. Same plaza as Miyabi.

Try Miyabi up at Hwy. 7 & West Beaver Creek (NW). Authentic, very good.
