Mexican - The Michoacan Restaurants?
OK, after trying to find the best Mexican in Vegas (on or off The Strip) I have come across the Michoacan Restaurants.
What is your take on them? Are there any other places you would recommend over them? Are they worth traveling off the strip?
I have also come across the following:
Taqueria Canonita in the Venetian
Garduno's @ the Palms
Viva Mercado's Mexican Restaurant
Border Grill in Mandalay Bay
Gurdunos sux, its your typical worsened Americanized place, the only thing decent there is the tortilla soup.
Border Grill in L.A. (same ownership) has great apps, drinks & desserts.
I LOVE the food at Lindo Michoacan! In fact, that is how I found your post. I've been doing an online search looking for a local place with a similar menu (no luck). This is the kind of place that all the locals go to becuase it is so good. It is the kind of place where you taste the salsa and it is so good that you know the rest of the meal will be one of the best you have ever had. This is the kind of place that has me planning another trip to Las Vegas just so I can eat here again :) This is the kind of place that has me salivating every time I tell someone about the cheese stuffed, bacon wrapped shrimp that I had there. Run - don't walk to this restaurant. From what I hear there can be a long wait. We went at 3pm and it was busy but we were seated right away.
