What to do with persimmons...

My parents have a huge amount of persimmons and they have no idea what to do with them. Do any of you have some delicious and/or unique dishes/cocktails that I can suggest to them? Thanks in advance!

There are recipes for persimmon chutney on the internet. I'm going to try one next week...

Or you can just be like me and have a persimmon or two with every meal. They never get old...

How about making Sweet and Sour Pork. You can make a Korean punch out of them too. Also a chicken salad.

If they're the squishy hachiyas (acorn shaped one), you can make them into a delicious persimmon pudding.

I don't have a recipe, but know it can be done because my boss's husband would make the best persimmon pudding ever.

what kind are they? the round sort of donut shaped ones, or the ones shaped like acorns?
