Help me find a great restaurant for a visiting foodie!

Looking for something exciting... and delicious. Brother is coming to town for 2 nights - he's a real foodie and graduate of le Cordon Bleu, so of course he wants something to write home about. Price isn't too much of an option, but really going for a quality meal more than anything.
Thinking of Trestle on Tenth, The Little Owl. Anyone have thoughts on those two? Just had a baby and feel lost in the restaurant dept. right now! Help is much appreciated!

I would go to The Tasting Room or MAS

Spotted Pig if you want something casual - I think it's unique b/c the food is excellent and atmosphere is casual and fun (though not for everyone). Wait is excruciating at times (no reservations) - so go early or late (kitchen is open late, past midnight, I think bar is open until 4).

Hmmm...I was underwhelmed when I went to Spotted Pig with my cousin. I didn't find it that interesting, but it was pricey.
