Did the group choose a cookbook for Nov. or are we still on Braising? [moved from L.A. board]

Is there a hiatus or are we continuing to cook with Molly who has some bomb receipes to try if ever we could get rid of this 97 degree heat?

    2. I somehow missed that there was a book club thing happening. But I do have the braising book. Would some kind person please fill me in on what were the favorite recipes from the book?

        Here is the main thread that will link you to all the other threads. There are tons of pictures and tips on the various recipes. I tried a lot of recipes from this book and haven't had a loser yet. My favorite is probably the Goan Chicken and the Braised Bacon Carbonara. For veggies, I love the braised cabbage, braised rabe and argula, and the braised escarole.

              Thanks so much! I have been kind of hesitant about jumping in to try more recipes in the braising book. Now, I'm heading for the meat counter at TJ's asap. And the carbonara sounds like experiment number one.
