Make Your Owns

I've been searching for a Make Your Own Salad place for a while. There's Salads Galore on Wilshire, but it closes at 3pm and isn't opened weekends.

Is there a great make your own salad place that is not a Souplantation or Gelson's Salad Bar? The kind of place that you request what you want in it and they do all the work for you?

Go Veggie is GREAT!! It's near the corner of Jefferson and Centinela! :)

You didn't specify the area, but I'm guessing you're looking for the Westside. If your request includes the SFV, then The Dressing Room in Sherman Oaks would fit the bill, although it can be a bit pricey.

damon & pythias has excellent "Create your Own" salad options. They have locations in calabasas, westwood village and santa monica.

I've also heard that Organic to Go on Wilshire & Fairfax will make salads to order when you are in the store. Sadly, they won't deliver your own salad creations...

Tender Greens in Culver City makes your salad in front of you, and they have many options to choose from. I assume you can have some say in the final product that you order as it goes by you. I am a fan.

Mrs. Winstons has several locations on the website.

Mrs. Winstons intrigues me...can you tell me what the website is? I can't seem to find it.

They don't have a website. There's one at 2450 Colorado in the Water Garden in Santa Monica, one at 29th and Ocean Park in Santa Monica, and one in Century City in the 1999 Ave on the Stars parking structure. As you can probably tell, I love this place. Bar none, the best salad bar I've ever seen. I'm dying for them to open one downtown...

I'm pretty sure Salads Galore on Wilshire is no more, isn't it?
