El Pollo Loco

I read quite a while back that they were expanding franchises into the Boston/New Englaned area, but have seen/heard nothing since.

Does anyone know if this is still a possibilty?

    There is one open in Tewksbury, MA now. Also a Chelsea location opening this Winter. Not sure I want to try it though.

        I think you'll find our locally-owned pollo a la brasa joints better, although I have gone to EPL in Florida late at night and in a pinch.

          I looked it up and that press release was from a couple years ago. So who knows what is taking/took so long.

          But, I do have some good news regarding this. In the Boston Herald this morning there was an ad regarding an El Pollo Loco opening up at Foxwoods. So, it appears they have finally broken into New England. Hopefully it may only be a matter of time before we can find some some in the Boston area.
