Lewes/Rehoboth, DE finds-latin and wings
Mariachi’s in Rehoboth is a welcome addition. As I understand it, the place opened as the Terrace but is now under new management. I had the trout in Criolla sauce and my partner had the chicken in Durango sauce. Both were good. Mine was a little spicier than I would have liked, but the chicken I would order again.
You can see the menu here:

They have locations in Frederick and Rockville. It may be a family operation, but it was clear the two servers were not new and were knowledgeable about the menu. Service was good. Dinner for two with an appetizer (plantains), dessert (tres leches) and two coffees, with tip was around $45, which is cheap for Rehoboth. I would not get the plantains since each dinner had one anyway. It also came with black beans and rice.
The server told us to check EXP magazine for their nightly specials. They will be open year round. Friday is fajita night, for $12.95 and you can mix seafood, chicken and beef. It was a popular selection. The place filled up by around 7:00. I am guessing word is getting around and the Taxi and Loco will feel this place.
Kick’n Chicken (beside Happy Harry’s and domino’s) I ordered the medium, should have gotten hot, 6.25 for 10 with celery. They also offer sandwiches and regular fried chicken and some sides. Think they may have to work out some kinks, nothing terrible. All in all, it is a decent option. I like the Miltonian’s wings and the Wing to Go wings ,but the former is too far to drive and the latter is never open

This weekend we visited this restaurant. This was most tasteless Mexican food (if you can call it that) experience we’ve ever had. Any Mexican chain restaurant would seem a gourmet food compare to what they served to us. Pretentious inattentive service, dishonesty (they overcharged us for that Friday deal margarita and sangria and when we point it out said that they don’t have this deal anymore, though just a minute ago we heard ourselves the other water was advertising this same deal to the next to us table) plus absolutely horrible but expensive food ruined one of our getaway evenings. I do not understand people who would pay this kind of money for that kind of food.

re: pyatachok
pyatachok, It is too bad this happened to you on your trip to the area. We have a new Mexican restaurant in Lewes that you might like to try next time. It is called Agave and is located on Second Street. It is getting rave reviews. http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/525996
