Roast turkey sandwich with stuffing and cranberry sauce - Help!

Brooklyn Hound Nov 4, 2006 05:05 PM

I'm pregnant and having an intense need for a sandwich made of roast turkey, stuffing, and cranberry. It's a New England standard, but not something I've found many places in Brooklyn or Manhattan.

Any help much appreciated!

Lenny's Gourmet Deli on Columbus between 83rd-84th. Fantastic. Great stuffing, freshly roasted turkey, gravy and cranberry sauce. They now have other locations throughout NYC but I can't vouch for those.

I noticed last night that Tempo Presto in Park Slope makes a Thanksgiving sandwich.

Carve on 8th Ave and 47th Street in Manhattan has a sandwich they call "Thanksgiving on a Roll" that lives up to its name. But just think, in about two weeks you can make your own!

Toasties on John Street makes it (Thanksgiving sandwich), but it's made from boneless turkey roast, not whole turkey. Also, it's one of the few places I'd accuse of using too little salt in their cooking.

I think 'Wichcraft has a turkey-cranberry sandwich but no stuffing though.

Chat 'n' Chew in Union Square has it, although I haven't had it myself there so I can't comment on how good it is.
