Lunch back at the Black Lab Bistro - Phoenixville
Hey, The Black Lab Bistro has reopened for lunch! What a great way to upgrade mid-day from that dribble you get at those other haunts. I know they just won some cooking contest where they got 300 out of 350 possible first place votes, pretty incredible!

While walking back home from the farmers market in Phoenixville today we noticed that the Black Lab Bistro on Bridge is now open for lunch on Saturdays from 11:30-2:30. This was a happy sight for 2 locals who can't get there during the week for lunch. We had a quick caesar salad and turkey club, both very tasty! Now if they'd just bring brunch back again, well we'd practically live there.

I used to love the Black Lab Bistro. We would travel to Phoenixville and go exploring, maybe take in a movie or hit Produce Junction, and then have dinner there. Casual, friendly and good food.
Last time we went to Phoenixville we were shocked to see the restaurant. It was beautifully decorated, menu was revamped and prices of the entrees were jacked way up. We didn't stay to try the food because we were really in sticker shock. It was always such a nice, dependable place to go and not spend an arm and a leg. The prices are way more along the lines of Philly now, in Phoenixville?
I am not saying that I either recommend or don't, but I was just dissapointed that a reliable restaurant had changed so much.
