It's been several years since I've had a chance to stop by, but last time I checked, Saliba was still there. He seemed like a neat guy.

Jerusalem Market! I've been trying to remember the name of it. I grew up in Greensboro and we were Jerusalem Market devotees - the proprietor, Saliba (is he still there?) was the most friendly and generous shop-owner in town. After my Dad had traveled to Israel, and I to the Palestinian territories, we loved to go visit Saliba (who is Palestinian), accept all his free tastes of his various specialties, and reminisce. Love Jerusalem Market!

Jerusalem Market is very good. It's a market and deli, with a small areas of tables.

Zaytoon. Only open on weekdays. It's downtown somewhere.
