in the running for best burger is...

the full shilling on pearl and wall street.

no joke, had a cheddar cheese burger with bacon, medium rare. the burger was delicious. size is in between burger joint and corner bistro. taste is better than bistro, rare, molly's, etc., just about as good as burger joint and definitely not super salty like the shake shake burger tends to be. very similar to the blue smoke burger and maybe on par with that one, which i consider one of the best burgers in the city.

chedder was perfectly melted over the entire burger, bacon nice and stacked high and the bun wasn't some fancypants brioche but a normal squishy bun that sopped up the burger juices wonderfully.

as a bonus, the fries were hand cut fresh made, crispy and good flavored.

i'd definitely go and try this burger ASAP.

Eh - in the financial district best burger is at Delmonicos. I agree the fries are good at the full schilling and the burger is good, I just don't think it's great.

i actually don't like the delmonico's burger. too fussy. maybe they've changed the burger at the full shilling cause this thing was great.
