Had the shrimp poppers, the lobster bolognese and the pork 4 ways. Wife had the quail, the foie gras and the monkfish. Very good though the service at 11:30PM was not great. Cheese course all American was good. Desserts were interesting. All in all very good (especially for the upper west side). I'd try again.
I also tried it for the first time last weekend and found everything to be excellent. I definitely recommend the roasted mushrooms, lobster bolognese and the pork.
Don't know if they still have them, but they were also offering some white truffle dishes as a supplement. We tried a simple tagliatelle with butter and a heaping pile of white truffle shavings that was amazing. A bit of a splurge, but definitely worth it since they are only in season for a short time.
I just went last weekend for 1st time. Agree on the trout for sure - chef's specialty.
Also liked both the lobster bolognese and the gnocchi mid course.
striped bass is good for fish. i had beef which was ok. I should have had the duck.
the peanut butter chocolate dessert was fantastic.
