Brunch in Portsmouth
I'm driving up from Boston to meet some friends for breakfast/brunch in Portsmouth and would love some ideas about where to eat. I've seen the Friendly Toast mentioned a few times here. If that's a good choice, will we have trouble getting in on a Sunday mid-morning?
Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. Here's a brief report back:
Met some friends halfway between their home in Maine and mine in Boston for breakfast at the Friendly Toast on Sunday mid-morning. The place was hopping, with five or six groups waiting on the sidewalk outside. We put our name in at the friendly host stand. Waited no more than fifteen minutes and were seated in a cozy booth. Breakfasts included basic eggs, homefries and toast. Eggs were perfectly done and served while hot with nice thick slices of toast. DCs had an omlette with feta, spinach, and olives, and chocolate chip pancakes. Service was friendly, attentive, but didn't rush us out even though the place was busy. A lively, fun place to meet.

Friendly Toast will probably have a short wait.
