Just got back and had the tomato wild rice along with at chicken panini combo. Soup was hot and tasty, but not tasty enough to make me think about it afterwards. I'll try the other places next time. Thank you all.

go to cafe doppio instead - right next to hale and hearty, off of broad street (around the corner from starbucks). fresh made delicious soups, not like the hale and hearty out of a giant plastic bag soups. i highly recommend the split pea or the chicken jambalaya.

I went there a couple days ago. I thought the soup I had was excellent (sausage gumbo) and it came with a large piece of baguette and a choice of an orange or a banana. However, I think you are better off with Hale and Hearty since the soups are just as good and they have more than double the selection (I go to the one on Pearl and Maiden Lane).
