Does anyone know what type of mediterranean restaurant is being opened? I hope it has its own unique type of cuisine because at last count, there are 2 Israeli restaurants (not including Jerusalem Steakhouse, which will be opening soon)and 2 fast food Israeli or Israeli like places (Falafel Stop & Yossi's Grill) in Cedarhurst and Lawrence.

It is good to see new restaurants thrive in the Five Towns. Hopefully, this new restaurant will be successful.

Its an Israeli/Mediterranean kind of mix. They have all sorts of amazing foods. I checked out their menu and they have an amazing variety. For the appetizers they have salmon fingers, chicken fingers, avocado eggrol(with chicken), veal stuffed mushrooms, chicken wings, and couscous with vegetables. For the salads they have a fatoosh salad (lettuce tomato, cuc, assorted veg, croutons, some spices, and a little bit of olive oil),Stir fried veg with soy sauce and walnuts. Caesar salad with avocado, scallions, cherry tomatoes, and croutons. You can add chicken, beef, or tuna to the Stir fried, Fatoosh or Ceasar Salad. They also have Teriyaki stir freind salmon cubes with mushrooms and toasted sunflower seeds served on a bed of lettuce. Fresh Tuna Cubes in Olive Oil with assorted veg, roasted peppers, roasted eggplant and served over a bed of lettuce.

For the soups they usually have a variety of vegetable soup, an outstanding Yemenite soup with has a spicy broth and is mixed in with potatoes and meat. They also have chicken soup with noodles.

The omelets are very unique. They have Shakshuka(which is two eggs poached and cooked in a tomato sauce, its very spicy but has an exquisite taste).

Green Omelet= An omelet with assorted greens and parsley.

Meat Omelet-An omelet with assorted deli cuts which includes roast beef, corn beef, pastrami, turkey, etc

Malawach-served with a hard boiled egg and tomato sauce.

Please let me know if you are interested in the rest of the menu as I can upload it or email it to you. I can also recommend the foods that I have tried which are outstanding.
