My wife, who's really into her nothern-italian heritage, has a high opinion of it - it's creative, upscale, but still italian. I think it's kinda cool that they have grappa (which I like, but which is traditionally more like 'hootch' than fine distilled liquor). Given that San Jose doesn't seem to spark tons of posts (good or bad) by hounds, I will def. keep Paolo's on my to-revisit list. Some of their cocktails sounded really good too...
