Good Eats Near Mohegan Sun

I'll be at Mohegan Sun on Saturday and looking for a good lunch spot near but not in Mohegan Sun. Might be craving seafood, CT pizza, or CT hot dogs. Any suggestions?

All-in-all the food at Mohegan is quite good and I've not found much else in the area off-site.

I'll concur on Jasper's. There's also decent BBQ restaurant next to it. There's some more upscale options as well. Check the Mohegan web site.

Mohegan Sun is in the middle of what many refer to as a culinary wasteland. You really are better off at the casino, sad to say.

I second Jasper White's - great menu and atmosphere, but if you're looking to go off the casino site, you can't beat Flanders Fish Market in East Lyme, right off I-95. Very reasonable, something for everyone (even carnivores!).

I disagree about flanders fish market went there once, bad service bad food. Your best option is to stay at the casino... many amazing restaurants something to suit everyone...

Engine 7 Pizza Co. in nearby Norwich is good, but I suggest trying Jasper White's Summer Shack onsite at Mohegan. It's the best of that chain, in my opinion, the service is great, and the staff is knowledgeable about seafood.
