Best hot dog, chicken or turkey dog that is?

where? bad question, but sometimes in the mood for one of these, esp, if they're spicey.

what about Pink's at Melrose/La Brea? When I turned in my thesis I downed two chili dogs with onions and cheese to celebrate. <burp>

The dog is well seasoned and has a great snap. Fairly world famous. This dog and a Gray's Papaya one from NY side by side would be one of my death row meals.

I will recommend Weiner factory every time. The polish dogs are fantastic but they have a great chicken sausage too. IMO Pink's is just ok at best is a place of history in LA only. It's not worth driving a long distance for.

Believe it or not, the dog used in the famous Hot Dog on a Stick is actually poultry-based (can't remember if it's chicken or turkey). That would be my vote.

Weiner Factory at Kester and Ventura in Sherman Oaks has a great turkey dog with a definite kick to it!! I love it with mustard, chili and onions. Yum!
