where to find great butter and garlic whole crabs in the style but not the crappiness of Crustacean in BH. Also, if they have garlic noodles that would be great too (of course the non-gloppy kind).

i've tried the house special crab at macau street.

and it was very good, at least the first time i had it, and cheap at only 8.95 for a whole crab. the 2nd time i had it, it really lost it's luster.

the fried duck chins aka duck tongues with lemongrass were ok, but nothing special.

        Again, garlic, yes. Butter? No.

The house special crab w/tons of garlic at Seafood Village in Monterey Park.

I agree that Seafood Village (in both Monterey Park and Temple City) offers up great whole crab with garlic, but they do not use butter.

As far as "Crustacean-like crab dish" ... hmm, maybe try the King Crab dish at PARKER'S LIGHTHOUSE in Long Beach.
