Oysters in Charlotte, NC

Many years ago I stopped at a little restaurant in Charlotte, NC that had tin buckets of steamed oysters to eat. There was a space along the ends of the tables for servers to move around without going into the dinning area proper and holes in the table to throw shells down. It was a wonderful experience but I do not know the name of the restaurant or where it is. I vaguely remembering crossing some railroad tracts into a rather run down part of town to get to the restaurant and I think it was a free standing one story building.
Does anyone else remember this place, its name and its location?
Does it still exist?
I would appreciate anyone’s answer.
Thanks

That was it! Calabash Cove on Central Ave.
Sad that it closed but now I won't have to try to find it next time I am in town.
I was surprised to find good oysters so far inland.
The place I've found most similar to that is Teeples in Thunderbolt near Savannah, GA but the Cove was better.
A million thanks for your reply. A memory mystery solved.

Sounds to me like you mean the old Calabash Cove on Central Avenue. Closed long ago, but it was exactly as you describe.

I think that's it, Kathleen. I'd completely forgotten about the Cove!

Could've been A.W. Shucks on Old Pineville Rd.

Sounds like Vinnie's Southside Sardine to me
