Indianapolis -- Keystone Crossing

I'll be in Indy Thursday-Friday, and will have free time for lunch on Friday. Is there anything that's a must-have in the Keystone Crossing area?

We ended up at Shanghai Lil's, and I'd go back. Appetizer was assorted dumplings. Usually I'm trying to guess whether they're fresh or frozen, and these were definitely fresh. Also had the peppered prawns, and it was very good and a generous portion.

While the food was great, the service was slow. There were only three tables occupied at lunch. One was a table of 12 men (looked like a business meeting), and they complained about how slowly their lunches came out of the kitchen. Our waiter seemed kind of indifferent as well.

Still, the food was excellent, and their Sunday dim sum menu looked really interesting.

I strongly recommend Cafe Nora. Just a few minutes west of Keystone Mall. Top notch food. The place has been there for years, and always looked like a hole-in-the-wall within a strip mall. Within the last year or so, they tore everything down but the actual cafe to build a supertarget. If it appears to be sitting in the middle of a parking lot, that's because it truly is.

Mostly chains in the area, but the do not miss is Shanghai Lil's. They have a very extensive Japanese as well as an eclectic Chinese menu. One of the cities best spots...I'm too lazy to look, but I think they have a website
