Dinner with girlfriends

Need a place to eat tomorrow night with some girlfriends to catch up. Need something reasonably priced, was thinking somewhere in the East Village. Dont want Italian food. We have some limitations - one girl is vegetarian and the other doesnt really eat shellfish. As long as there is one decent vegetarian meal on the menu its fine. HELP!

    Maybe Klong on St. Mark's for Thai food, or maybe just the Bourgeois Pig for appetizers and fondue on 7th street-they have half price bottles of wine until 7:00.

      Meskel, the new Ethiopian restaurant was just featured on the $25 and under in todays NYTimes and I plan on trying it soon. Sounds like a good option.
